Trans Closet

Prism started Trans Closet in 2013, with the first event being held that September.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We held the actual event in the bottom floor of the LGBT Community Center and utlized nearly the entire space. We did personal consultation with visitors to determine their needs and guide them in the appropriate direction. The kindness of the larger Charlotte community, individual donors, and corporate retail partners, we were able to display over a thousand pieces of clothing and accessories.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the September 2013 event, we continued to provide appointments and one-on-one meetings with individuals who needed clothing. Trans Closet will return once we establish a more permanent location. Until then, let us know your needs and we will help you in any way we can.
