Prism relies on donations and grants to function. With the closing of the LGBT Community Center of Charlotte, we lost our fiscal sponsor and the possiblity of receiving grants. Our strategic plan is in place, and we are ready to expand our programs! We are currently in the process of applying for our nonprofit status, and afterwards, your gifts will be tax deductible. Until then, we rely on your kindness.

$10 pays for transportation for one car full of young adults to a community event
$20 buys a book for our library
$30 pays for food for a social/support group
$50 allows a young adult to stay in a hotel room for a night in a time of crisis
$100 covers website costs and information-spreading
$200 will cover a social event and help with relationship-building
$300 pays for a member or coordinator to attend a conference for development
$500 helps pay for our 501(c)3 status
$1000 will be used to purchase a computer our members can use for job hunts/homework
